Rise And Shine Initiative

I can hear the mission bell ring out loud and clear!

Let the glory of the Lord rise among us.

You may have lost the fight. You may feel like you’re on the floor bleeding. You may have taken the ‘Ten Count’ and everyone else has walked away. The lights are out and the arena stands empty … all you can hear is your own labored breathing.

Just remember …

The righteous man may fall sevenfold, but he shall rise up again!

The media exploded again today with more crazy news.

It did yesterday and it will again tomorrow.

The King is still on the throne and the Kingdom of God did not change.

Beware the haze and remain focused on Christ.

We can’t walk on water and watch the storm.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Something lit up inside of me. So often, I’ve watched saints of the King, heroes, stand between the dragon and his victim, defending the fallen one, even at great cost to themselves. It seems the farther we stray from the experiential knowledge of the Resurrection of Christ, the colder our hearts become.

Remember, we have died, been buried and resurrected with Christ and raised up to walk in newness of life with Him!

Rise and Shine!

In Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus walked on the water and He called Peter to get out of the boat and walk with Him on the water.

Once you’re out of the boat, don’t be surprised what you hear from the folks who are behind you in the boat. If they had faith, they wouldn’t still be in the boat.

Just keep your eyes on Jesus.

And step out of the boat every chance you get!
